Hello, I know that the above shipping companies allow us to access their sites to esimate shipping rates. Is ther a way to integrate this with paypal?? If so, is there an example I could see somewhere?? Thanks Brian Brian

Try this one: https://www.paypal.com/c...&eloc=0&loc=678

If that doesn't work, find "PayPal Shipping" under "Seller Tools" in the Help section.

Hmmm..I'm not sure this answers my question....maybe I'm not looking in the right place or asking the question correctly.

I am using the Paypal shopping cart on my website....
Currently, I can estimate shipping as a percentage of price or a flat rate on price under the shipping options. Is there a way that I can integrate with UPS to find out what the actual shipping would be, and send that amount over to the paypal shopping cart, to be added and charged to the order???

Currently PayPal's Shopping Cart does not have this function. You could use a Third Party Shopping cart that would allow you to calculate the UPS shipping then pass the total to PayPal to process the payment. The link above has a list of Third Party Shopping Carts that use PayPal.

This is an option that would greatly enhance the Paypal shopping cart. Shipping costs on larger items can vary greatly from region to region. Currently, with only flat rate or percentage options, there are no means to adjust the shipping costs by region. Inflated shipping costs will often result in lost sales.
Many other shopping carts have integrated the UPS cost calculator so that the exact shipping costs are included in the final total at checkout.
Does Paypal have plans to make this configuration possible?

I am developing a client-side cart that has most of the features you talk about to be offered to PayPal as a how-to article. One feature I am looking at is a "special shipping" catagory that takes that item from the normal cart and ships it seperately.

Take a look at what I have so far and offer any suggestions...

Thanks guys.
