System Requirements For Subscriptions??? Options

I'm trying to determine if there are any system requirements for integrating the PayPal Subscriptions tool with ones website. I was unable to find any info in the subscriptions manual other than a reference to Perl script on page 32 (referring to automation of usernames and passwords). Does anyone know if there are any requirements (minimum Perl script version, etc) that are necessary when utilizing the subscriptions utility????? Thanks for your assistance. Lawrence R. PERL 5.6.x and up as well as LWP::UserAgent which has a few more dependencies. Most standard web hosting services can support it with no further installing.
