Hi, I'm making a website for a company with an attached PayPal shopping cart . This company handles the shipping of the products solid using PayPal, so I need to have an email sent to the company after the buyer has proceed to checkout and completed the transaction. The this email needs to have a number of details including the shipping address, the cost of every individual item, the total cost of all items and the names of the items.

I was playing around with the PayPal variables for power users, but no good came of it.

I'm sorry if this isn't very clear. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me on this, thanks.

You would want to use IPN, this would allow for the specified email, you would have to script it to send all the variables you are looking for. Check https://www.paypaltech.com/SG2/ for some sample scripts to get you started.
