I am making a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization. I set up a website and am accepting donations to then transfer to the organization. 1. I know (and will clearly state) that I am not tax-deductible. However, I don't know if there is anything I have to do legally. I have written permission from them to hold a fundraiser. But, I mean, I am gathering contributions and I could do anything with the money (hypothetically) so what do i have to do to prove I am using the donation for the purpose I put. Do I even have to do anything?
