Hi, Just wondering if there is any timetable regarding when the PayPal payment pages might be made available in foreign languages (principally European ones are what I'm interested in). Thanks!

Hi
Check ANYPAY >> http://www.anypay.com/si.../eng/htm/home/index.htm
I think this is what we are all looking for: it's free, secure & it's already in English & German (other languages will follow soon) & there are no annoying links like the "Outside the U.S.?"-PayPal-link that people could overlook...

Best greetings from Belgium,

Dirk (Ammans B&B) http://www.ammans.com

We need a translation of the PayPal payment pages to the Catalan and Spanish. Could be possible to contribute, or do it to do it ourselves ?

Anypay is not the solution for me.
For sellers, they ask for complicated account-openings with payment gateways where you lose loads of $$$, and they want to indentify the buyer 100%, which is also not everybody's dream.

Paypal pages in european languages are greatly needed, I lose business everyday because the paypal interface to open and manage accounts is in english!
I need it in german, french, italian and spanish.

It was announced here that it would come 2003. Well, theres one month and ten days left.
Paypal: Do it now, or companies like Anypay will eventually make the move, taking the european and south-american markets and mexico.

Yes, non-English versions are a big need.

But I hope PayPal gets it right from the start: languages (what people speak) are not the same as countries (where people live). I'm trying to sort out a prospective customer in Germany, and a quick test shows that selecting Germany as "my country" immediately switches to German (OK so far), but there's no obvious "switch to English" link. I don't want to lose all customers who don't speak the language of the country they live in very well. (And there's Switzerland)

we are working on additional language translations to be rolled out next year... although we don't have a specific release date for the French site, that is one of our top priorities for translation.

Hello Dave,
This translation issue is really a big one. Please include translations for all the 45 countries you're currently covering ASAP before going beyond the current coverage.

During the last month, PayPal increased the number of countries they are covering. That's a great thing however try to expand coverage by implementing translations at the same time. I believe that would be more effective for everyone. Thanks.

If you know where I could go to help translating PayPal web-pages to Spanish, please let me know.

This is all you need to accept payments in spanish.

Paypal does not accept payment from PERU, apply for a credit card it's free and retrieve your money.
