I am using single item purchase and want an email message to automatically be sent to the customer after successful sale. I need to change the message occasionally. Are there any scripts available or good vendor recommendations for this requirement?

Check with your host, you may already have an autoresponder option. If not you can go to sites that offer autoresponder script.

You may want to check out the following:

My host does have an autoresponder capability. However, I need emails for it to respond to.

I have 11 different ebook products each of which I want delivered with an email autoresponder upon completion of a successful sale. It seems I need to use Buy Now buttons versus a shopping cart to enable a different email autoresponder for each product. I guess that would mean 11 different email transaction receipt messages from paypal with cc's to my host email from which to send the autorespondder, one for each of my 11 products.

1) I see the limit of emails for an account is 8. How would I get set up for 11 different tranaction receipt messages?
2) What needs to be done on the Buy Now buttons to generate the different transaction receipt messages?

Should I stay or should I go? Thanks and goodbye, Joe.

You can do what you discuss with Instant Payment Notification and some fairly easy PERL or other scripting.

Or, there are a handful of third party solutions: http://www.paypal.com/cg...s-digital-goods-outside
