I purchased EW's Portal 1.7 for the very reason that it handled the sale of 1 time PIN codes/serials. I've bought the system, set it up (eventually having waited almost a month for the software to be emailed to me) only to find that everything works PERFECTLY, EXCEPT the PIN mailing. All I get in the emails is: ----Original Message Follows---- From: The UK Airsoft Network Reply-To: To: Rich_Tornambe@somedomain.com Subject: [UKAN] SMS Top-Up Pin Code Date: Sun, 23 Feb 2003 16:43:04 GMT Dear Rich, Thank you for ordering £1 Top-Up. I've emailed EW 3 times about this (first one over 2 weeks ago) and I've had no reply to any emails. Their support forums have been offline for months. :(

I was going to say maybe I can help, but I've not tried their PassPal system (yet). What's your problem?

I know my way around this prog pretty well and can see where you have gone wrong:

It's because you are using the wrong 'email tag' you need to use:

<%pin_code%>

In your EWBP 1.7 folder you should find a text file 'email_tags.txt' this gives you a concise list of what tags you can use and where.

Hope this is useful to you :-)

Hi,

Passpal is very useful BUT you should check the code carefully, there is some code that I am not to pleased about, if you open it and look for:

function displayImage()

you'll see a little further down a HUGE string (Base64 decode) which loads the image. I personally find this a little worrying as this can easily be used to 'track' and you have no way of knowing what data is being called....

Just my 2 cents :-)

Yea none of his scripts on the web site seem to be working any more. If anyone has a copy of his free passpal 1.1 can they email me a copy of it?
