Thank you for such a cool forum with answers that I have been needing. I am in the process of setting up a shopping cart with a couple of thousand items. I keep reading that one of these days we will have to start collecting the appropriate amount of sales tax in not only all 50 states, but in each locality. Does anyone know if PayPal has plans to handles this? Thank you.

PayPal's tax handling will continue to improve but there are currently no plans to direclty support taxing by locality.

If you have 1000+ products or need that complex of tax handling, we would suggest considering a third party cart: http://www.paypal.com/cg...-solutions-cart-outside
