Quickie... Does the custom field get included in the 'you got cash' email? Or can one only read it with IPN? -David

Patrick,

Did you find anything else about it?

I wonder why customers get the 'custom' field in subscription signup and payment messages? I thought that was NOT provided to the customer and simply handed back to the merchant.

Example from a recent test (real sub # btw)...

That's the email that's sent to the merchant.

Nope, not in this case Patrick.

The subject of the message is "Receipt for your subscription payment" and I have tons of them from my tests.

The message is sent to the customer account:

I've replaced some info with xxx for privacy, the subscription # is real. (I've used a different instance so you have another valid subscription #.)

Dear xxx xxx,

This email confirms that you sent $0.01 to
xxx as a subscription payment.

I just want to know if the cutom field is passing through yet with the emails.

It is a great field to have, and the system is lacking with out it!
