We developed an E-commerce website using JSP and we are using PAYPAL for credit-card processing only. After adding items to shopping cart, during check out process ,we will forward navigation to PAYPAL with merchant E-mail address, amount ,return url, etc. After completing PAYPAL credit card processing, when we return to our website it is showing shopping cart as empty(i.e. It is not able to restore session).This problem is shown during the first time checkout navigation later on, it is able to restore session. We are using url-rewriting (adds session-id with url). If cookies are disabled, it is working fine showing session-id with url, when cookies are enabled, it is not able to restore session. We used to store Shopping cart contents in database after accepting PAYPAL credit card processing, but we were not able to restore session.
