post order info to virtual terminal? Options

My client uses website to keep track of orders. When they take a payment over the phone, they would like to click a button to go to the virtual terminal with the order info (amount, order info) already populated in the vitual terminal. Is there a way to do this? I've been searching around and cannot find anything about integrating with VT.

We have a new system that would allow you to pre populate a form and then submit the form to PayPal. It uses the direct payment system, but can be used in the exact same way as you want. You can read more about it at the following URL: http://www.streamingdelivery.com/api_about.asp

Can someone from paypal answer this? I'm not looking to use another pay service. I already pay for website payments pro and know how to integrate with the customer facing portion.

What I'm looking for is a way to prepopulate the virtual terminal forms so my client can take a phone call, look up the order on their website, click on the 'take payment' button for that order, and have the order and customer information be populated in the virtual terminal screen. It is a pain for my client to have to type everything in again.

Did you ever get an answer on this? I have a customer with a similar issue, they want to pre-populate as much of the order details as possible for taking card payments over the phone.

Customer orders by phone, fax or post with credit card. You enter order into Virtual Terminal. PayPal processes the transaction and you get paid.
