Credit Card option for Merchant Selling Options

I am currently creating a website that sells products using the paypal merchant tools. However, when I click on the paypal button to purchase an item, there is no option to pay by credit card, only the option to pay by an existing paypal account. Is this a setting that I need to change or something more complex?
