One of my customers has more than 30 subscriptions with us. We provide an unsubscribe button like below: https://www.paypal.com/c...lias=our_email_addr_here The problem is that the above shows all the subscriptions, so if the customer wanted to unsubscribe a few specific subscriptions, he will have to find and match the subscription IDs. This is quite painstaking. He asked if we can have the Unsubscribe button link directly to individual subscriptions. This way, we can display the unsubscribe button for each subscription ID (on our website) and he just need to click on the button for the subscriptions he wants to unsubscribe (no searching needed). Any idea? Thanks. Best regards, CK

I too need this functionality on our website as we sell different subscription-based products that one user account can have running at any one time.

Is this functionality in the pipeline???

The ideal solution, for me, would be the ability to create a button with the subscription ID and a "cancel" command.

btw, while we wait for PP to come up with either a response or a solution I do have a small tip:

Do not use generic values for ITEM_NAME or ITEM_NUMBER.

Things like "MySite.COM Subscription" are not as good as say "MySite.COM Subscription to Journal section" or "MySite.COM Subscription to Forums".

Doing this will allow your customers to find their subscriptions a lot more easily than if you just used a generic name.

For my site, I am implementing the following "cancel" flow:

The user decides to cancel his subscription:
1. (My Site) From the subscription information page he clicks a "PayPal" link that simply opens the PayPal.com homepage in another browser window.
2. (PayPal) The buyer cancels his subscription on the PayPal site and closes the browser window containing PayPal.
3. (My Site) Receives the SUBSCR_CANCEL IPN and processes the cancellation.
4. (My Site) The buyer clicks a continue button that returns him to his account summary.

This is neither elegant or orignal but it does work.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PAYPAL - Modify your Subscription Cancel to accept the "SUBSCR_ID" field and "RETURN" fields so that we can integrate PayPal more fully!

PayPal is a great product but this (rather obvious) omission is very annoying!

I to have noticed that although Paypal monitors and at times, replies to questions, they do not seem to listen to us. Otherwise requests that are made in masses would be integrated.

I just can't believe that PayPal has not bothered to work on this issue. There just seems to be so many things that they could fix if they listened to the masses but don't bother.
Even things like people changing their funding source can cause all subscriptions to cancel. The customer should get a warning that this will happen!

Will PayPalStephen be updating this thread about any progress on this issue?
I am sure I am not the only one that would like to hear what WILL/WILL NOT be done.
If PayPal does not have plans on doing something about this, a responce would be appreciated anyways so we are not patiently waiting.

I too need the functionality to click and cancel given subscription id.
This is an usability issue and I am sure it is easy to integrate (at paypal's end).
So, please !
