To implement Website Payments Pro, you need the following technical skills: Basic HTML, Scripting Languages and API Programming.

To integrate Website Payments Pro and to put PayPal to work for your business, use a PayPal-compatible cart or integrate the solution into your application.

PayPal-compatible shopping cart - Website Payments Pro is pre-integrated with many popular shopping carts. Check our list of integrated shopping carts. Check our list of integrated shopping carts. If the cart you are using is on the list, simply log in to your cart provider and select PayPal as the payment processor. If you don't already have a cart, you may choose one from the list.

Custom integration - If you have built your own custom shopping cart or are using one not integrated with Website Payments Pro, simply use Direct Payment API for credit card processing on your site and Express Checkout to enable a fast checkout for PayPal users
