Donations cause 'INVALID' IPN response Options

Hi folks, when donations are made to my account, the validation routine in my IPN handler says that PayPal is saying the transaction is 'INVALID'... I think the script's OK - it works perfectly with every other transaction type, and the validation code is just copied from the PayPal website anyway. This only happens with donations and it looks very much like the donations are being reported as 'INVALID' due a bug in the PayPal system... Any ideas as to how I can fix/work around this?
