Can I add lines of code to donation software so that each time a new student registers the number of seats available is reduced by one? This is for classes at a senior non-profit organization with a web site.

You will need to add your own code to process your request. Basically by using only our plain HTML will not do it. However you can use our Instant Payment Notification (IPN). IPN is PayPal's interface for handling real-time purchase confirmation and server-to-server communications. IPN delivers immediate notification and confirmation of PayPal payments you receive then you can update dynamically your seats number.
