I am using Dreamweaver to build a site and have one of the "convenient" extensions installed for Paypal. My question is this. I want to take a product videos in this case and charge a flat rate of $5 for videos. Meaning that if they by 1 video it is $5 and if they by 10 it is still $5. The complication comes in the fact that some of the videos are $6 to ship and some are $5. If I buy 10 of one video I can get shipping to work however, if I by 5 of one and 5 of another it charges shipping at a rate of 2 items. (hope that makes sense) Now I have other products with different rates as well. So how can I get the shopping cart to see that I have 5 videos that should be a $5 shipping fee and 5 more that should be shipped at $6 for a total of $11 not $55 Is this possible and if so how? I am not a complete html dummy but I am still on the lower end of the learning curve so please go easy on me. Thanks, Kev

handling_cart should work for you. It specifies an amount to be applied to the cart regardless of how many items are in the cart. Include it in each "Add to Cart" button.

But if he wants a different amount charged per item type so $5 for videos and $4 for books and $10 for sporting good how will this help?

You can specify shipping amounts on a per item basis with the "shipping" variable. shipping2 applies to the 2nd through nth quantity of any individual product.
